My husband, Kevin and I (Jean, left) raise the following REX varieties: Castors, Black Otters, Brokens, Opals and Reds. I consider my castors and brokens my specialty and have received many judges compliments regarding color and type. Broken reds have been very competitive at local and national shows.
Breeding, showing, and processing pelts into items such as teddy bears (see for sale page) keeps me out of trouble and in the barn year-round.
We are 20-year members of the Town and Country Rabbit Club, National Rex Club, and American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA).
Castor doe pictured in the banner displayed at the 2011 ARBA convention was our Jr. Doe (16F0) who won BOB at 2007 Rex Spring Ntls. and won the Specialty show the following day.
